By Hop

The Hop is Milwaukee’s free streetcar system. At this time, it is limited primarily to the greater downtown area. Pick it up directly in front of the Intermodal Station and take it to Van Buren and Ogden, then catch the northbound 15 bus [$2.25 fare] directly to the hostel at Holton and Center streets.

By Bus

We’re located along the 15 bus line, which travels through downtown as well as the north and south sides of Milwaukee.
Bus fare is $2.25 one way and must be paid in cash. Both Google Maps and the MCTS Real-Time Bus Tracker app offer up-to-the-minute arrival times.

By Bike

We’re located north of the Hank Aaron Trail, which connects Milwaukee to Madison.he Oak Leaf Trail entrance is a mile and half from the hostel and connects to the northern Milwaukee area as well as southern bike trails that connect to Chicago. Use bike directions in Google Maps for the best routes, or call us for suggestions for safe routes to the hostel.

From the Airport

By Bus

There are two options. Take the GreenLine bus north to Locust and Oakland streets. From there, catch the westbound 22 bus directly to the hostel at Center and Holton. Or, walk: from Locust and Oakland, we’re about a one-mile walk. Take the northbound 80 bus line to the 22 on North & 7th Street and get off at the hostel on Holton and center.

By Car

Take I-94 West and get off at North Avenue or Locust Street. We are located about two miles from the highway.

Rideshare

Take a Lyft or Uber (about $25 one way)."

BY FERRY

We are located 2.2 miles north of the ferry. Take the 15 bus line directly to the hostel from KK- about a mile walk from the station.

If biking- take KK to Water Street and then up to Holton- take a left to the Hostel. Google Map bike directions have a few routes.
