One thing for sure-- Milwaukee loves a street festival. Mitten Fest had the great idea to host an outdoor fest in the middle of winter. It's a fun way to shake off some of that dreary cabin fever to get out and party, even if it happens to be a little cold out. Mitten Fest happens in the hip Bay View neighborhood and is centered on the streets outside of Burnhearts. The fest features food trucks, craft vendors, live local music, and, of course, good stuff to drink, including craft beer and hot drinks like boozy coffee and hot toddies. Here's the wonderful music line-up:
1 p.m. – King Eye & the Squirts
2:15 p.m. – Saebra & Carlyle
3:30 p.m. – Lauryl Sulfate & Her Ladies Of Leisure (note--a Cream City Hostel staff favorite!)
4:45 p.m. – ZED KENZO
6 p.m. – The Eradicator
(Between-act DJing by Christopher Schulist)
